Privacy Policy for PromptSend

Introduction

PromptSend lets you turn an AI prompt (and an optional image) into a short 5-digit code and share that content via a public link.

Anyone who has the code or share URL can view the prompt, optional image, and any creator details you included.

The Data We Collect

When you use PromptSend, we collect and process:

  • The prompt text you submit, the generated 5-digit code, optional image file, optional creator name and social/website URLs, and creation time.
  • Your IP address in memory only for rate limiting and abuse prevention when enabled. It is not stored with prompts by default.
  • Optional creator details remembered in your browser via localStorage if you choose “remember me”.
  • A light or dark theme preference in local storage.

How We Use Your Data

We use this data to provide prompt sharing and viewing, generate unique codes, display optional creator credit, prevent abuse, and remember your theme and creator preferences on your device.

Analytics and Cookies

If Google Analytics or similar tooling is enabled on PromptSend, it may set cookies and process usage data under that provider’s privacy policy.

We do not use advertising pixels, and we do not record how often a prompt code is opened or who opened it.

Data Storage

PromptSend uses Supabase to store prompt text, codes, optional creator fields, and optional images in a public storage bucket. Shared prompts are designed to be publicly retrievable by code.

Who Can Access Your Prompts

Treat codes like unlisted links: anyone who knows the 5-digit code or has a share link can view the prompt and any attached image or creator details. Do not submit secrets, API keys, passwords, or private personal data.

Payments and Accounts

PromptSend has no paid plans for the MVP, does not process payments, and does not collect billing information. No account is required to create or view prompts.

Content Responsibility

You are responsible for content you submit, including prompts and images. We may rate-limit requests and remove content that violates our terms or the law.
